About Ali Holah

Working from my attic studio in the beautiful town of Knutsford, Cheshire, I create optimistic art, primarily aimed at the children’s art market; but I do plan to expand this to include more fine art for the home in the future.  Having studied art and English at university; I’ve always enjoyed being creative. When my children were little, I painted murals and furniture for their bedrooms. Then, unable to find the right christening present for a friend’s child, I decided to have a go at making my own. This resulted in a range of prints, with future dreams as a central theme. Designed with longevity in mind, the prints  suit most decors, and aim to last well beyond the nursery years. Each print starts as an original drawing, with wording and colour added digitally. This means they can also be personalised with a child’s name or personal message, making a thoughtful gift for a christening, birthday or new baby.  I use a fine art giclee print company in nearby Manchester to print and post out my products; which ensures the quality of each product.

In the last few years, my children’s print collection has been accepted to sell on Notonthehighstreet.com.  Soon, I will be launching a greetings card range, based on the original children’s art prints.  I’ve also taken on some separate illustration commissions; most recently illustrating a children’s book ‘Leo’s Ladder’, written by Dee Griffiths –  published in time for Christmas 2018.
